• Recognizes that the week provides an opportunity for forensic science service providers to acknowledge contributions, organize community events, conduct tours for policymakers, and contact media outlets.
• Recognizes that the week provides an opportunity for local policymakers to commend forensic laboratories, declare the week by proclamation, visit laboratories, and discuss operational needs.
• Recognizes that the week provides an opportunity for the public, media, law enforcement, and court officers to attend events, tour laboratories, and discuss the operational and legislative needs of forensic science laboratories.
