Oregon Recreation Enhancement Act

What it does
- Designates approximately 98,150 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in Oregon as the Rogue Canyon Recreation Area for recreation and conservation management.
- Designates approximately 29,884 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in Oregon as the Molalla Recreation Area for recreation and conservation management.
- Expands the Wild Rogue Wilderness by approximately 59,512 acres to be administered under the Endangered American Wilderness Act of 1978.
- Withdraws all Federal land within the designated recreation areas from mining, mineral leasing, geothermal leasing, and public land disposal.
- Requires the Secretary to conduct a wildfire risk assessment within 280 days and develop a wildfire mitigation plan within one year covering the recreation areas and adjacent Federal land.
