Critical Materials Future Act of 2025

What it does
- Establishes a Domestic Critical Material Processing Pilot Program within 180 days to support at least three domestic critical material processing projects using innovative financial tools.
- Requires the Secretary of Energy to issue regulations within 180 days and select eligible projects within one year of enactment.
- Directs the program to provide support for processing at least three different critical materials, with no single material receiving more than 50 percent of program funding.
- Terminates the Pilot Program not later than five years after establishment.
- Prioritizes eligible projects that use feedstock from domestic or reliable sources and have the greatest domestic feedstock use.
