Combating CCP Labor Abuses Act of 2025

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of Commerce to provide training to Department of Commerce employees who offer business counseling on human rights abuses, including forced labor against Uyghurs in Xinjiang, and to integrate such training into existing training programs.
- Requires the Secretary of Commerce to offer guidance to U.S. businesses engaged in interstate commerce or foreign direct investment on human rights risks, including information on entities subject to control by jurisdictions with significant abuses such as China.
- Mandates guidance to businesses include information on risk factors, ways to avoid entities linked to human rights abuses, and potential reputational, economic, and legal risks of transactions with such entities.
