Hydropower Licensing Affordability Act

What it does

• Amends section 4(e) of the Federal Power Act to limit reservation license conditions to those reasonably mitigating direct adverse effects of hydropower projects on federal reservations.
• Amends section 18 of the Federal Power Act to limit prescribed fishway requirements to those reasonably mitigating direct adverse effects of hydropower projects on fish populations in applicable river systems.
