TAAP Act

What it does

• Adds Arizona to the list of U.S. states eligible for transboundary aquifer assessment program designation, excluding certain portions of the Yuma groundwater basin.
• Extends the authorization of appropriations for the United States-Mexico transboundary aquifer assessment program from fiscal years 2007-2016 to fiscal years 2026-2036.
• Resets the sunset date for the transboundary aquifer assessment program authority to ten years from enactment of this Act.
