Truckee Meadows Public Lands Management Act

What it does
- Conveys approximately 166 acres of Bureau of Land Management land to the City of Reno, Nevada, at no cost for public purposes including parks, effluent storage, and roadway expansion, with reversion to the United States if the land ceases to be used as specified.
- Conveys approximately 13 acres of Forest Service land to the City of Reno, Nevada, at no cost for public purposes including roadway expansion, with reversion to the United States if use conditions are not met.
- Conveys approximately 956 acres of Bureau of Land Management land to the City of Sparks, Nevada, at no cost for public purposes including parks, open space, and cemeteries, with reversion to the United States if the land ceases to be used as specified.
- Conveys approximately 831 acres of Bureau of Land Management land to Washoe County, Nevada, at no cost for public purposes including open space, recreation, and public recreational shooting facilities, with reversion to the United States if use conditions are not met.
- Transfers lands to be held in federal trust for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, and Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, including conversions of certain tribal fee lands to trust status.
