Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027

What it does
- Authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 2027 for intelligence and intelligence-related activities of the United States Government, the Intelligence Community Management Account, and the Central Intelligence Agency Retirement and Disability System.
- Repeals the National Intelligence Management Council and authorizes repeal of various positions, units, centers, councils, and offices within the intelligence community.
- Extends Central Intelligence Agency authority regarding unmanned aircraft systems.
- Establishes a China-Taiwan Strategic Warning Task Force and prohibits intelligence community use of adversary unmanned ground vehicles and certain Chinese products and services.
- Establishes requirements for artificial intelligence exploitation guards, reviews of intelligence community use of artificial intelligence for targeting, and prohibitions on certain artificial intelligence models on intelligence community systems.
