Caja del Rio Protection Act

What it does
- Establishes the Caja del Rio Special Management Area comprising approximately 67,163 acres of Federal land in the Santa Fe National Forest in New Mexico.
- Establishes the Caja del Rio National Conservation Area in New Mexico and directs the Secretary of the Interior to manage it.
- Requires the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a comprehensive management plan for the Special Management Area within 3 years of enactment.
- Directs the Secretary to prepare a travel management plan to decrease unauthorized road access and motorized use within the covered areas.
