Accelerating Broadband Permits Act of 2026

- Requires the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information to create a public dashboard tracking BEAD grant recipients' progress through major milestones, including expended funds and broadband service locations.
- Directs the Assistant Secretary to develop a tool helping eligible entities identify relevant federal permit requirements for subgrantees and monitor their progress toward obtaining permits.
- Requires the Assistant Secretary to develop data controls within 90 days to ensure accurate and complete tracking of processing times for communications use permit applications.
- Directs the Assistant Secretary to analyze and report annually to four congressional committees on factors causing delays in processing communications use applications and establish an alert method for at-risk applications.
