Pechanga Band of Indians Water Rights Settlement Technical Amendments Act

What it does
- Amends the definition of Reservation in the Pechanga Band Water Rights Settlement Act to include lands set aside by Executive orders dated June 27, 1882, and January 9, 1907, and lands added to the reservation on specified dates between August 29, 1893, and October 10, 2008.
- Expands the definition of Reservation to include any contiguous land held in trust by the United States for the Band on the enforceability date and any contiguous land located within the Santa Margarita River Watershed placed into trust after the enforceability date.
- Expands permissible uses of the Pechanga Water Quality Account from groundwater desalination activities to broader activities addressing water quality issues within the Wolf Valley Basin.
- Directs the Secretary of the Interior to promptly execute amendments to the Pechanga Settlement Agreement and related exhibits to conform with the amendments made by this Act.
