- Requires covered entities providing AI chatbots to mandate family accounts for children under 13.
- Requires covered entities to obtain verifiable parental consent from parents of teens ages 13-17 before allowing account creation.
- Requires covered entities to terminate existing chatbot accounts of children without family accounts and teens without parental consent, and immediately delete their personal data.
- Requires covered entities to provide family account parents with options to control default features and settings for child and teen accounts, including restrictions on targeted advertising.
