What it does
- Authorizes appropriation of $120 million, indexed for inflation, to complete all phases of the Northwest Area Water Supply Biota Water Treatment Plant and Pump Station Project in North Dakota.
- Authorizes appropriation of $404 million, indexed for inflation, to complete the McClusky Canal and Missouri River North Alternative for the Eastern North Dakota Alternate Water Supply Project.
- Authorizes appropriation of $50 million, indexed for inflation, for the Southwest Pipeline Project to complete raw water intake, pump station, transmission line upgrades, hydraulic improvements, and rural distribution expansion in Southwest North Dakota.
- Authorizes appropriation of $63 million, indexed for inflation, for North Dakota rural water districts for water treatment and distribution expansion, including the South Central Regional Water District North Burleigh Water Treatment Plant Expansion.
- Authorizes appropriation of $743 million, indexed for inflation, for four tribal rural water systems within Indian Reservations: Spirit Lake ($118 million), Three Affiliated Tribes ($275 million), Standing Rock ($240 million), and Turtle Mountain ($98 million), plus $12 million.
