Western South Dakota Water Supply Project Feasibility Study Act

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a feasibility study in coordination with the Western Dakota Regional Water System, Inc., to determine whether a project to supply municipal, rural, and industrial water from the Missouri River to the Western Dakota Regional Water System should be constructed.
- Requires the Secretary to develop a feasibility report recommending whether the project should be authorized for construction and specifying a non-federal cost share of at least 25 percent, determined based on financial capability analysis.
- Requires the Secretary to submit the feasibility report to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources, and to make the report and associated documents publicly available.
- Authorizes appropriations of $10,000,000 for the feasibility study, with the federal share not to exceed 50 percent of total study costs.
- Sets a 10-year expiration date for the authority granted by this Act.
