Bay Area Ridge National Scenic Trail Feasibility Study Act

What it does

• Directs the Secretary of the Interior to complete and submit to Congress a feasibility study for designating the Bay Area Ridge Trail as a national scenic trail within one year of enactment.
• Requires the feasibility study to be conducted in consultation with the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council and all relevant Federal and State agencies administering lands through which the trail passes.
