What it does
- Releases the approximately 81,000-acre Middle Fork Judith Wilderness Study Area from wilderness study area designation and requires the Forest Service to manage it under the Helena Lewis and Clark National Forest plan.
- Releases the approximately 11,380-acre Hoodoo Mountain Wilderness Study Area and 11,580-acre Wales Creek Wilderness Study Area from wilderness study area designation and requires the Bureau of Land Management to manage them under the Missoula Resource Management Plan.
- Removes constraints preventing land managers from conducting wildlife habitat and wildfire mitigation projects on the three released areas.
