Lower Yellowstone River Native Fish Conservation Act

What it does

Directs the Secretary of the Interior to retain full ownership, operational authority, and financial responsibility for the Lower Yellowstone Fish Bypass Channel in perpetuity.
Prohibits any Federal agency from imposing or requiring the Lower Yellowstone Irrigation District or Project to assume financial or operational responsibility for any aspect of the Fish Bypass Channel.
Directs the Secretary and the Director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to retain exclusive responsibility for fulfilling Endangered Species Act obligations relating to pallid sturgeon conservation associated with the Fish Bypass Channel.
