Satellite Cybersecurity Act of 2025

What it does
- Directs the Comptroller General to conduct a study on Federal Government actions supporting commercial satellite system cybersecurity and report to Congress within 2 years of enactment.
- Requires the Secretary of Commerce, in coordination with the Secretary of Homeland Security, to develop and maintain a publicly available clearinghouse of commercial satellite cybersecurity resources, guidance, and voluntary recommendations within 180 days of enactment.
- Directs the Secretary of Commerce to consolidate voluntary cybersecurity recommendations for development, maintenance, and operation of commercial satellite systems, addressing risk-based engineering, recovery planning, and protection against unauthorized access and jamming.
