Wintergreen Emergency Egress Act

What it does

Amends 16 U.S.C. 460a-3 to require the Secretary of the Interior to issue a right-of-way for an emergency exit on Blue Ridge Parkway land near milepost 9.6 in Virginia if specified conditions are met.
Requires the Secretary to complete an evaluation of alternatives to the right-of-way that do not cross Federal land, including whether existing trails can be converted to roads.
Requires the Secretary to complete an analysis of expected fire ecology behavior in the event of a fire emergency with respect to the right-of-way.
Requires the Secretary to report to the House Natural Resources Committee and Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee that all National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act reviews have been completed.
