What it does
- Authorizes $185,000,000 for fiscal year 2026, $190,365,000 for fiscal year 2027, $195,886,000 for fiscal year 2028, $201,556,000 for fiscal year 2029, and $207,412,000 for fiscal year 2030 for gas and hazardous liquid pipeline safety programs.
- Authorizes $30,000,000 for fiscal year 2026, $31,000,000 for fiscal year 2027, $32,000,000 for fiscal year 2028, $33,000,000 for fiscal year 2029, and $34,000,000 for fiscal year 2030 for research and development.
- Authorizes $33,000,000 to $37,000,000 annually from fiscal year 2026 through 2030 for operational expenses of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
- Authorizes $10,000,000 annually for fiscal years 2026 through 2030 for emergency response grants.
- Establishes a National Center of Excellence for Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Leak Detection.
