Scam Compound Accountability and Mobilization Act

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Attorney General, Secretary of the Treasury, and other federal agencies, to submit a comprehensive strategy within 180 days to counter scam compounds and hold significant transnational criminal organizations accountable.
- Requires the strategy to identify enabling countries and impacted countries, articulate structural vulnerabilities exploited by criminal organizations, and list all active federal assistance programs addressing scam compounds and related money laundering and human trafficking.
- Mandates the strategy to identify resources needed to implement counter-scam efforts and obstacles to federal response, including coordination with partner governments on human trafficking and money laundering related to scam compounds.
