Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act

What it does
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to implement a pilot program furnishing hyperbaric oxygen therapy to veterans with traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder through community care providers in two Veterans Integrated Service Networks.
- Establishes a VA HBOT Fund in the Treasury, funded solely by donations to the Secretary for the express purpose of providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy under the pilot program, available without fiscal year limitation.
- Directs the Secretary to ensure any medical facility providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy under the pilot program is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations, the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, or another organization with comparable expertise and objectivity.
- Requires the Comptroller General to submit to Congress by one year after enactment an updated report on hyperbaric oxygen therapy use for traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, including assessment of clinical trials conducted by the Veterans Affairs Department, Department of Defense.
- Extends the deadline for certain pension payment limits under section 5503(d)(7) of title 38 from November 30, 2031 to October 30, 2034.
