Roadless Area Conservation Act of 2025

What it does

• Prohibits the Secretary of Agriculture from allowing road construction, road reconstruction, or logging in inventoried roadless areas within the National Forest System where those activities are prohibited by the Roadless Rule.
• Defines inventoried roadless areas as lands where road construction, road reconstruction, or logging is regulated under the Roadless Rule as adopted on January 12, 2001, and subsequently modified for Idaho and Colorado.
