Delivering On Government Efficiency in Spending Act

What it does
- Requires agencies to report to the Treasury the purpose, appropriations account, and activity type for each federal payment submitted for disbursement, with exemptions for sensitive operations.
- Directs the Office of Management and Budget to publish federal payment data on the public Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act website within 30 days of certification.
- Mandates agencies to annually verify the accuracy of payment information submitted to Treasury disbursement systems and provide written confirmation.
- Grants the Secretary of the Treasury access to the National Directory of New Hires to identify, prevent, and recover improper payments, with authority to redisclose to agents and authorized agencies.
- Requires agencies to verify bank account information and compare it against other payment records before certifying vouchers to disbursing officials.
