Rim of the Valley Corridor Preservation Act

What it does

Adjusts the boundary of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area to include the Rim of the Valley Unit as depicted on specified maps dated August 2001 and April 14, 2023.
Requires the Secretary of the Interior to administer any acquired land or interest within the Rim of the Valley Unit as part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area under applicable laws and regulations.
Permits the Secretary of the Interior to make minor boundary revisions to the recreation area after written notice to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources, and publication of a revised drawing in the Federal Register.
Allows water resource facilities and public utilities within the Rim of the Valley Unit to continue operating, maintaining, and modifying infrastructure while requiring activities to reasonably avoid or reduce impacts on Rim of the Valley Unit resources.
