Anti-Racism in Public Health Act of 2025

What it does
- Establishes a National Center on Antiracism and Health within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct research on structural racism's public health impacts and develop interventions to address them.
- Directs the Center to award noncompetitive grants to public and nonprofit entities, including state and tribal health agencies, for research and data collection on policies with disparate health impacts on communities of color.
- Requires the Center to establish at least three regional centers of excellence in racial and ethnic minority communities to research mechanisms of racism in health care access and outcomes.
- Establishes a law enforcement violence prevention program within the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control to research police violence, develop prevention interventions, and coordinate data collection with the Department of Justice.
- Directs the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to award grants and conduct research on interventions to reduce police use of force and study alternatives to law enforcement response.
