Pershing County Economic Development and Conservation Act

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of the Interior to conduct sales or exchanges of eligible federal land in Pershing County, Nevada, as jointly selected with the county after public notice.
- Requires the Secretary and the County to conduct competitive bidding for land sales with adjoining landowners offered first option, at fair market value appraised under professional standards.
- Directs the Secretary to offer to exchange all eligible land for private land within one year of enactment, with values equalized through cash payments, additional land, or removal of parcels.
- Directs the Secretary to designate wilderness areas and conduct a mass appraisal of eligible land every five years to facilitate exchanges prioritizing higher-value natural resource areas.
