Small County PILT Parity Act

What it does

• Amends section 6903(c) of title 31 to lower the population threshold for additional PILT payments from 4,999 residents to 999 residents for small counties.
• Establishes a new payment schedule with per-capita PILT rates varying by population tier, with rates ranging from $325.74 per capita for populations of 1,000 to $95.55 per capita for populations of 50,000.
