Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve Establishment Act

What it does
- Redesignates the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park as the Ocmulgee Mounds National Park.
- Establishes the Ocmulgee Mounds National Preserve in Georgia as a unit of the National Park System after the Secretary acquires sufficient land through willing purchase, donation, or exchange.
- Directs the Secretary to develop a general management plan within three years that addresses cultural resources, preservation of burial grounds and sacred sites important to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and cultural landscapes.
- Allows hunting in the National Preserve and fishing in both the National Park and Preserve in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws.
- Establishes a hiring preference for members of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation for positions at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve.
