Ocmulgee Mounds National Park Redesignation Act

What it does
- Redesignates the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park as the Ocmulgee Mounds National Park.
- Allows the Secretary of the Interior to make technical corrections to the official park map and requires the map to be available for public inspection.
- Authorizes the Secretary to allow fishing within park boundaries in compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, with discretion to restrict fishing in specific zones or periods.
- Directs the Secretary to seek memoranda of understanding and cooperative agreements with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and other Indian tribes regarding management and preservation of natural and cultural resources.
- Requires the Secretary to take approximately 133.88 acres of Muscogee Creek Nation fee land into trust within 180 days of request, designating it as part of the Muscogee Creek Indian Reservation and prohibiting gaming on the trust land.
