Great American Outdoors Act 250

What it does
- Establishes the America's Legacy Restoration Fund, redesignating the prior National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund, to receive 100 percent of Great American Outdoors Act 250 revenue and donations plus 50 percent of annual energy development revenues from federal land.
- Allocates Fund amounts across agencies as follows: 70 percent to National Park Service, 15 percent to Forest Service, 5 percent each to United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Bureau of Indian Education.
- Directs the Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture to use Fund amounts for priority deferred maintenance projects on national parks, national forests, national wildlife refuges, public lands, and Bureau of Indian Education schools without further appropriation through fiscal year 2030.
- Permits the Secretary of the Interior to request the Treasury Secretary to invest Fund amounts not required for current needs in public debt securities with maturity and interest rates determined by Treasury.
