What it does

• Amends the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act to prohibit fishing regulations in marine national monuments from being imposed via Presidential proclamation under the Antiquities Act.
• Requires that fishing in marine national monuments continue to be regulated under the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and other applicable law.
