Support for Expectant and Parenting Foster Youth Act

What it does

• Amends section 477 of the Social Security Act to add a new purpose: connecting foster youth in eligible families with evidence-based home visiting and support services provided under section 511.
• Requires States to certify they have processes in place to ensure youth in eligible families participating in the program receive information about home visiting and support services available under section 511.
• Authorizes States to use payments from their allotment to provide tailored case management and resource coordination services to expectant or parenting youth who are otherwise eligible for services under the foster care program.
