Western South Dakota Water Supply Project Feasibility Study Act

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a feasibility study on supplying municipal, rural, and industrial water from the Missouri River to the Western Dakota Regional Water System.
- Requires the Secretary to develop a feasibility report with a recommendation on whether the project should be authorized and the non-federal cost-share, set at minimum 25 percent of construction costs.
- Mandates the Secretary to submit the feasibility report to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources and make it publicly available.
- Limits the federal share of feasibility study costs to 50 percent and authorizes appropriations of $10,000,000 to carry out the study.
- Terminates the study authority 10 years after enactment of the Act.
