What it does
- Requires the Secretary of State to notify Congress at least 15 days before obligating funds under the Art in Embassies Program for art or curatorial services exceeding $37,500.
- Requires the Secretary of State to notify Congress at least 15 days before obligating funds under residential design programs for art, furnishings, or design elements exceeding $37,500.
- Requires the Secretary of State to notify Congress at least 15 days before obligating funds under the Cultural Heritage Program for projects or acquisitions exceeding $37,500.
- Establishes that notifications must include a description of the item, its purpose and location, estimated cost, and the fund source.
