Veterans STAND Act

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to offer annual preventative health evaluations to veterans with spinal cord injury or disorder who elect to participate.
- Requires evaluations to assess health risks, chronic pain, dietary and weight management, prosthetic equipment function, and suitability of assistive technologies including spinal cord neuromodulation.
- Directs the Secretary to provide training, programming, remote monitoring, and follow-up for assistive technologies through telehealth as clinically appropriate.
- Requires the Secretary to submit biennial reports to Congress on the number of veterans assessed for, prescribed, and using assistive technologies and outcomes data.
