- Directs the Federal Reserve Board, Comptroller of the Currency, and FDIC to study partnerships between banking organizations and financial technology companies, including their impact on competition, innovation, consumer protection, new bank formation, and compliance burden.
- Requires the Federal Reserve Board, Comptroller of the Currency, and FDIC to report findings and recommendations to Congress within 1 year of enactment on regulatory changes that could promote effective bank-fintech partnerships.
- Directs the National Credit Union Administration to study partnerships between credit unions and financial technology companies, including their impact on competition, innovation, consumer protection, new credit union formation, and compliance burden.
- Requires the National Credit Union Administration to report findings and recommendations to Congress within 1 year of enactment on regulatory changes that could promote effective credit union-fintech partnerships.
