American FIRST Act of 2025

What it does
- Requires the Federal Reserve Board to include in its annual report a description of its interactions with global financial regulatory or supervisory forums, including membership lists, purposes, funding sources, organizational structure, positions taken, and anticipated domestic regulatory changes.
- Requires the Comptroller of the Currency to include in its annual report a description of interactions with global financial regulatory or supervisory forums, using the same framework as the Federal Reserve Board.
- Defines 'global financial regulatory or supervisory forum' to include the Bank for International Settlements, Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, Financial Stability Board, International Association of Insurance Supervisors, and Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for Greening the Financial System.
- Exempts international financial institutions and organizations under treaty from the reporting requirement.
