Blast Overpressure Research and Mitigation Task Force Act

What it does
- Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish the Blast Overpressure Task Force through the VA-DoD Joint Executive Committee within 180 days of enactment.
- Requires the Task Force to improve health care and benefits for veterans and armed forces members with traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, or other symptoms from blast exposure.
- Mandates the Task Force to prioritize translational research on sleep therapy, blast-related gut health, mobile diagnostics, vestibular dysfunction, autonomic nervous system dysregulation, cumulative mild traumatic brain injury, and neuroinflammation.
- Requires the Task Force to issue annual reports to the Senate and House Committees on Veterans' Affairs and Armed Services detailing research initiatives, coordination outcomes, clinical advancements, and recommendations for claims evaluation and neurological injury assessment.
- Terminates the Task Force on September 30, 2029.
