ADVERSARIES Act

What it does
- Amends the definition of 'foreign person' under the Export Control Reform Act to include Chinese military companies identified under section 1260H of the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act.
- Expands the definition to include entities listed in Supplements 4 and 7 to part 744 of title 15, Code of Federal Regulations, as designated by the Bureau of Industry and Security.
- Includes subsidiaries and affiliates that are 50 percent or more owned by any covered Chinese military company, foreign entity listed in the regulations, or related entity, regardless of location.
