Foreign Robocall Elimination Act

What it does
- Directs the Federal Communications Commission to establish an interagency taskforce on unlawful robocalls within 270 days after enactment, in consultation with the Federal Trade Commission and Attorney General.
- Requires the taskforce to include representatives from Federal agencies, voice service providers, analytics providers, technology experts, the Consortium established under the Pallone-Thune TRACED Act, marketing businesses, nonprofit organizations, and consumer advocacy groups.
- Mandates the taskforce to prepare a report examining the volume and origins of foreign unlawful robocalls, financial losses to U.S. consumers, technical solutions such as STIR/SHAKEN standards, and international cooperation mechanisms.
