Eviction Helpline Act

What it does

• Directs the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to establish a hotline providing eviction-related assistance to tenants in covered federally assisted rental dwelling units within one year of enactment.
• Authorizes appropriations to the Secretary for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter to carry out the hotline program.
