Fraud Reduction And Uncovering Deception (FRAUD) in VA Disability Exams Act

What it does
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to implement a process for individuals processing disability claims to identify instances of fraud in disability benefit questionnaire forms and report suspected fraud to the Office of the Inspector General.
- Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish a recurring audit of all disability benefit questionnaire forms submitted to the Department.
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to inform individuals who submit disability benefit questionnaire forms or claims when the Department suspects fraudulent activity.
- Authorizes the VA Inspector General to use any authority available to a Federal inspector general to investigate suspected fraud identified through the process.
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to submit an annual report to the Committees on Veterans' Affairs of the Senate and House of Representatives on administration of this section.
