Non-Domiciled CDL Integrity Act

What it does
- Amends federal law to allow States to issue commercial driver's licenses to individuals domiciled in foreign jurisdictions only if they have lawful immigration status and a visa determined by the Secretary to be employment-based.
- Requires States to confirm an applicant's lawful immigration status before issuing, transferring, renewing, or upgrading a commercial driver's license to a foreign-domiciled individual.
- Limits commercial driver's licenses issued to foreign-domiciled individuals to one year or until expiration of the applicant's authorized stay in the United States, whichever is shorter.
- Requires States to retain records of non-domiciled commercial driver's licenses for at least two years and provide such records to the Secretary within 48 hours of request.
