Child Care for Every Community Act
What it does
- Establishes universal, comprehensive child care and early learning programs accessible to all young children regardless of family circumstance or income.
- Directs programs to provide health, educational, nutritional, social, and other services based on family needs assessments to support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Requires decisions on child care and early learning program design be made at the community level with full involvement of parents, family members, and community organizations.
