NOPAIN for Veterans Act

What it does
- Amends title 38, United States Code to define a non-opioid pain management drug or biological product as one approved by the FDA to reduce postoperative pain without acting on opioid receptors.
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to include newly eligible non-opioid pain management drugs in the national formulary within one year of becoming eligible for temporary additional payment under Medicare.
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to include non-opioid pain management drugs in the Department's drug standardization list.
- Requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to implement these amendments within 90 days of enactment.
