Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025

What it does
- Designates the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization subject to the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1987 and imposes sanctions including visa revocation and inadmissibility within 90 days of enactment.
- Requires the Secretary of State to submit an annual report to Congress identifying all Muslim Brotherhood branches globally and determining whether each meets criteria for foreign terrorist organization or Specially Designated Global Terrorist designation.
- Establishes visa ineligibility, admission restrictions, and mandatory visa revocation for any foreign person determined to be a Muslim Brotherhood member based on credible evidence.
- Defines Muslim Brotherhood and its branches to include Hamas, Lajnat al-Daawa al-Islamiya, and entities operating in specified countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
