Taiwan PLUS Act

What it does
- Treats Taiwan as a NATO Plus ally for purposes of the Arms Export Control Act and related defense cooperation statutes for a 5-year period starting on enactment.
- Allows the Secretary of State to extend Taiwan's NATO Plus treatment for additional 5-year periods if the Secretary determines continued application serves US national security and notifies Congress at least 14 days before extension.
- Applies statutory provisions governing arms sales review timelines, congressional notification thresholds, and export licensing procedures to Taiwan as if Taiwan were a NATO Plus country.
