Personnel Integrity in Veterans Affairs Act of 2025

What it does

Requires the VA Secretary to submit annual performance plans for VA political appointees to Congress within 30 days of completion.
Directs the VA Secretary to complete personnel investigations of separated employees and place permanent notations in their official records within 40 days of investigation completion.
Mandates the VA Secretary notify affected employees of adverse findings within 5 days, provide 30 days to respond, and give written decision with specific reasons at the earliest practicable date.
Grants covered employees the right to appeal VA personnel investigation notations to the Merit Systems Protection Board and the VA Disciplinary Appeals Board.
