SBIC Reporting Modernization Act of 2026

What it does

• Amends the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 to require the Administrator to publish a quarterly report on small business investment companies licensed under the act, beginning 90 days after enactment.
• Directs each quarterly report to include the number of applicants approved to proceed to final licensing, applicants meeting section 302(a) requirements, dollar value of debentures issued, and jobs created or sustained by SBIC investments.
